The Priness and the Pea

There was one a prine,who led a happy life.ne day his father said to hi,"I' ettin old.When I die,you will ake a ood kin.But you need a queen.Find yourself a wife!"

So the prine traveled around the world to find a priness,but it had to be a real priness.Yes,there were lots of priness,but none of the seeed real,there was always soethin wron,and so he ae hoe very troubled.

ne evenin,a knok ae on the door.The old kin hiself went to open it.Before hi stood a priness.The kin hurried her inside.The-prine liked the priness very uh,and he wished with all his heart that she was a real priness.The queen also wanted to ake sure,and she had an idea.She took a pea fro the kithen and put it under the attress.Then she put several other attresses on top of it.The priness was to sleep riht at the top.The priness was very tired fro the day.After sup-per she went straiht to bed,but she ouldn't sleep.The pea under the attresses du into her so hard that by ornin she was blak and blue.nly a real priness ould be so sensitive.How happy the prine was.Now the ost beautiful priness had oe to hi.They had a wonderful weddin,but the pea was put in a lass box,where it an still be seen to-day.
