Soe people see to think that sports and aes are uniportant thins that people do at ties when they are not workin. But in fat sports and aes an be of reat value, espeially to people who work with their brains ost of the day. They should not be treated only as auseents.
We know Sports and aes build our bodies, prevent us fro ettin too fat, and keep us healthy. They also ive us valuable pratie in helpin the eyes, brain and usles to work toether. In table tennis, the eyes see the ball oin, jude its speed and diretion, and pass the inforation on to the brain. The brain has to deide what to do and sends its orders to the usles of the ars les and so on, so that the bah is et and hit bak where the player wants it to do. All this ust happen with very reat speed, and only those who have had a lot of pratie an do this suessfully.
We know Sports and aes are also very useful for harater-trainin. In their lessons, boys and irls ay learn about suh virrues as unselfishness ourae disiple and love of one's ountry, but what is learned in books an not have the sae deep effet on a hild's harater as what is learned throuh pratie. ost of students' tie is spent in lasses, studyin lessons. So what the students do in their spare tie is of reat iportane. This tie, I was even ore exited. Beause I went in for the sports eetin and y ite was hih jup. I didn't want to et any plae, I only wanted to enjoy the ae beause I knew I wasn't ood at sports.
When I ot to the field with y friend. I was both exited and nervous. When I saw the first heiht, y heart ould hardly heat.
How hih it was! It was hiher than our desks. I ouldn't believe y eyes. This was too hih for e to jup over. I wasn't nervous at that tiewhile I was a bit afraid. But I had one there, I ust have a try.
Not lon after, the ae bean. The first person was reat. He juped over easily. I was too surprised to say a word. The seond was ood, too. The third nearly juped over, but he wasn't bad…
It was y turn. I had a deep breath and then ran towards. In front of the pole, I bean to jup. h, no! y riht foot hit the pole. “I failed.” I thouht.
And then, another unluky thin happened. I didn't stand fir and I tubled. I hurt y bak badly. At that oent I felt y bak was broken. It was too painful. It seeed that the people around field all didn't know that, they only lauhed at y foolish posture.
After a very short rest, I stood up.
I push y pain bak and then went out of the field with y red fae. y friend hurried to oe to e. He asked e if this was terrible. I was too pained with y bak to answer his questions. I only shook y head. I was sad. Not only I had hurt y bak but also I ouldn't o on in the ae. I had to see the others jup and wish the to et a ood plae.
Thouh I didn't have the whole ae. I was still very happy. Beause a lot of y lassates tried their best in the ae and they ot a lot of ood plaes. They were all best in y eyes. I was thankful to the for doin their best for our lass.
