The wind ently urured,puffed and soeties sihed like a suer breee liftin the leaves alon the livelon niht.The at was urlin up quiet in her bed.The ouse was sleepin arefree in his allery.The do was lyin swwet on the sofa.Even the earth itself was sleepin in tranquility,exept that soe house door faintly reaked upon its hine,tellin us a reote inward warth.Nature was at her idniht work with feathery flakes whirlin down in the wind,as if she was showerin her silvery seeds over the fields.
Finally I woke up.The floor reaked under y feet as I oved towards the window.The snow as war as otton was lyin ally upon the window sill and the stillness of the ornin was extreely ipressive.
The roofs were standin under their snow aps,while the eaves were wearin their litterin ornaents.The trees raised white ars to the sky on every side,and where there was a wall,there were soe fantasti fors of snow strethin exhilarated in the di landsape,as if Nature had arved her fresh desihs by niht as odels for an's art.
Silently,I opened the door and stepped outside to fae the uttin air.The oon had already lost soe of its low and the land was bathed in a dull ist.A lurid liht in the east prolaied the approah of day while the weatern landsape was bleak with soe spooky stillness like a wiard kindo.What you ould only hear was the reepy sounds,seeinly out of the hell----the barkin of dos,the haerin of blaksith,the lowin of ows and the ryin of pis under the buther's knife.
