我的家乡在武汉，这里有许多名胜古迹：浩浩荡荡的长江、蔚为壮观的两江交汇口、白云悠悠的黄鹤楼、历史悠久的归元寺……家乡武汉的景色真是美不胜收啊！
武汉的小吃也是远近闻名：四季美的汤包、五芳斋的汤圆、老通城的豆皮、精武路的鸭脖子……其中最出名的要数蔡林记的热干面了，那是我们武汉人最喜欢的早点了，要不，你也到武汉来尝尝，保证让你吃了还想吃！
武汉的方言也很有趣，我们这里把鞋子叫“孩子”，把孩子叫“伢”。有一次，我听到两人对话：“你的孩（鞋）子咧？”“我的孩（鞋）子，破了拿克（去）补了。”你听了是不是捧腹大笑啊？
我的家乡还是一座现代化都市，你看长江和汉江上的一座座桥：长江大桥，长江二桥，长江三桥，江汉一桥，江汉二桥，月湖桥，晴川桥……真是数也数不清！以前的江滩只是荒草遍地的黄土坡，现在是令人流连忘返的大公园，龟山上竖起了高高的电视塔，长江底下挖了全国第一条长江隧道，我的家乡变化实在是大啊！
