每天清晨，迈入南外校门时，总能看到两排朝气蓬勃的同学对你大声地喊着：“Good morning！”对于这些早已习以为常的我来说，从来不认为这一声声的“Good morning！！”有着什么含义，只把它当做每天例行的公事，不过是机械的劳动罢了。 直到上周，当董老师在班上宣布轮到我们班执勤时，我愣住了，不过转念一想，还好还好，不就是喊喊“Good morning”吗？
没什么，可董老师随之而来的一个决定让我顿时傻了眼，他清了清嗓子，煞有介事地说道：“为了配合我们班同学的工作，表示对他们的尊重，当天不执勤的同学必须对他们予以回应，也就是必须向他们回应一声Good morning！”话音刚落，我不禁在心中暗暗叫苦道：“天哪！他们不过是机械地喊一句“Good morning！”，犯得着回应吗？再说了，全校上下很少有人会回答，我这样做不就很异类吗？
可是没办法，虽然心中有千百个不情愿，看着像门神一样伫立在校门口的董老师，我也只得用蚊子叫一样的声音喊声“Good morning！”，然后飞快的溜进校园，终于等到了我执勤的那一天，虽然要忍受早起的折磨，但起码不用回话了吧！ 那天一大早，当我早早地来到了学校，披上红条的标幅，在校门口对进校的学生问好时，突然觉得自己好像并不是在草草地敷衍了事，看着一个个同学走进校门，我总是希望能向他们传达最热情的问候。
看到大多数人面无表情地走进校门，心中不免失落起来，感觉自己的劳动没有得到尊重，自己的满腔热情没有丝毫的响应。就在这时，年级组长走了进来，她满面笑容地向我们招招手，然后用不太标准的英语大声地向我们喊了声“Good morning！”，那一刻，心里顿时觉得甜甜的，原来自己的问候是能带给别人温暖的呀！ 第二天，经过校门时，虽然还是有些不好意思，但我笑着向执勤的同学招了招手，大声地喊了句“Good morning！”。
