Kajal Aggarwal (Hindi：काजल अगरवाल； born on 19 June 1985) is an Indian actress, who has appeared in Telugu and Tamil films. She made her acting debut in the 2004 Hindi film Kyun。

In 2008, she had her first Tamil-language film release, which was Perarasu\'s action entertainer Pazhani. The film, in which she shared screen space with Bharath was a mercial success. Following this film, she had two more Tamil releases that year with Venkat Prabhu\'s edy-thriller Saroja, in which she did a guest appearance, and finally Bharathiraja\'s investigative thriller Bommalattam. Especially the former film went on to bee a mercial as well as a critical success, but both films failed to boost her career as her roles were too insignificant. Both her Telugu releases that year, Pourudu and Aatadista opposite Sumanth and Nitin, respectively, neither received positive reviews nor were successul at the box office.[1] 2009 she had four releases, three of which in Telugu. Her only Tamil film that year, which was Saran\'s Modhi Vilayadu, released first; it garnered mixed reviews and poor box office returns. Next she starred in the Magadheera, in which she essayed double roles for the first time. The film recevied universal critical acclaim as did the lead actors, including Kajal Agarwal, for their performances. Agarwal, particularly, was praised for her portrayal of a princess, Yuvarani Mithravindha, in the film. The film was also mercially highly successful and broke several records, emerging as the highest-grossing Telugu film and as one of the biggest box office hits in India.[2] Following Magadheera\'s phenomenal success, Agarwal became one of the most sought-after actresses in the Telugu film industry, catapulting her into the main foray of lead Telugu actresses. Currently, she is involved in at last half-a-dozen projects, including five Telugu films as such as the multi-starrer Om Shanti, Brindavanam opposite NTR Jr. and Darling, directed by Karunakaran. 剧情简介
